APS college of Arts and Science was started in the year 1956 by philanthropist and visionary late Prof. N..Ananthachar to impart quality education for underprivileged and needy students.
The college is affiliated to Bangalore City University and functions under the Management of APS Educational Trust.
The College conducts various extra curricular activities and participation in national level and university level sports is encouraged workshops are conducted in different departments to inculcate Scientific temperament in students.
APS students are taught, equipped with the right knowledge, skills and holistically developed as they become graduates to face the world in any given consequence. As the College Moto says, “Asathoma Sadgamaya” for we all believe in leading from darkness to light.
