Admission:

The Management is pleased to announce that the college has the following courses of study : B.Sc, B.C.A, BA, BA(Journalism), and M.A in Economics.

Qualifications for admission to the Degree course:

The students who are desirous of getting admission to the college for degree course should possess the following educational qualifications:

* Pass in PUC Examination conducted by the PU Board, Government of Karnataka or 10+2/Equivalent Exam.

* Candidates coming from outside the country shall be admitted to Degree course only on the production of a provisional eligibility certificate issued by the department. They should obtain such a certificate from the Director, Department Degree on application by paying the prescribed fees and enclosing a photocopy (duly attested by a Gazetted officer) of the pass certificate obtained at the qualifying examination. However candidate from State/Union territories outside Karnataka (are governed by the conditions specified in Government Order No. ED/45/SHH-95, dated 25.05.95) shall obtain the provisional eligibility certificate from the concerned principals and the Migration certificate issued by the concerned authority for their admission approval from the University.

Qualifications for admission to the PG course M.A( Economics):

* Courses for study:

The three year degree course includes the following subjects for study.
To get a Bachelor Degree, student should pass all the subjects by obtaining not less than 40% marks in all the six semesters
* PART I: Language: Kannada/Sanskrit and English.
*PART II: Arts Section ( Any one combination)
History, Economics, Political Science(HEP), History, Economics, Optional Kannada (HEK), History, Economics, Music(HEM), Sociology, Economics, Psychology(SEPsy),Journalism, Economics, Kannada(JEK)
*PART III: Science Section.
Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics(PCM)

*Admission Procedure:

Qualified students desirous of getting admitted to the college can obtain the application form by paying the prescribed fee.
Duly filled in forms have to be submitted to the college office within the stipulated date with the following documents attested.
1. Attested Xerox copy of the qualifying marks card.
2. Attested Xerox copy of the transfer certificate from his/her previous institution.
3. Recent passport/stamp size photograph.
4. Attested Xerox copy of the Migration Certificate for those students coming from outside Karnataka State.
1. A provisional list of selected candidates will be notified on the college notice board.
2. Selected students have to appear for interview along with the parents or guardian on the date notified along with all the original documents for admission.
3. Students will lose their right of admission if they do not pay the prescribed fee with in the stipulated date.
4. All admissions are made on provisional basis, it will be regularized only after the approval from Bangalore University.
5. The students have to pay the prescribed fee for obtaining eligibility certificates if they come from outside the State, Universities or Boards.
